10/22/09 REMINDER: Returns have come and gone. Still got quite a few players w equipment. Please contact your player's coach and make arrangements to have it returned to them asap. Equipment that is not returned will be billed to the player at the full replacement cost and that player will be ineligible to play in the 2010 season. Thanks again for another GREAT season!

10/10/09 REMINDER: The end of the season tailgate will be Sat 10/17, w all teams home that day just thought this would be more convenient for everyone. Following each team's game, we will have the whole team come back onto the field so that we may announce the coaches and all players. After that, the team will gather under the pavilion for pizza and soda (provided by PPRF) and to receive their team medals. Flag is done w the season and does not have any games on the 17th, so we will announce the flag team's during halftime of the 1st 8/9 game (12pm game)...please be at the field by 1215pm to participate. Tentative times for each team's pavilion use are listed below:

Also the shirt order will be in Monday, for those that placed an order please pick it up during practice.

Rocket Football Night Friday 10/9/09 Paw Paw vs Vicksburg at Falan Field 7pm; All players that wear a jersey will get in free to the game.  At 645pm PPRF players will form a tunnel for the varsity players to run through at the beginning of the game.  Also the PPRF program and teams will be recognized at halftime.

Bob Yarbrough's 10/11 team will play its game this Sat 10/10/09 230pm at WMU's Waldo Stadium.  This is a great opportunity and one that the whole program can share in, so please try and come to CHEER on our guys...GO RED!

9/23/09 Reminder: PPRF has a new email account: pprf@ymail.com Please use this email going forward...

The free player t-shirts and coaches' shirts are in and will be handed out tonight and tomorrow during practice.  Still waiting on the purchased t-shirts/sweatshirts, will keep u posted.  Also, those that requested WMU tickets can pick them up and pay for them (if not already) tonight and tomorrow during practice. 

FYI:  There will not be a program again this year, already 1/2 way through the season so will try again next year.  Now that we have most of the jersey #s, will print out a team roster for the coaches to give to each player. 

9/17/09 Reminder: Flag concession schedule is complete and and the file is attached on the website; there will be no concession on Sat 10/3/09 as the rest of the program has away games.  Any questions, please contact Tina Frank by email: tina.frank@bcdtravel.com or by phone: (269) 744-6782.

PPRF is looking for volunteers to help with weeding (next to concession and under bleachers) along with painting the bleachers.  The Village of Paw Paw will deliver the materials needed on Friday, September 18.  Parents that are willing to help will have to bring their own shovels, etc. The painting supplies will be supplied by PPRF.  Plan to start on Monday, September 21 while practice is occurring.  If we have enough volunteers this project should be completed by the following weekend games.

Anyone still wanting WMU TIickets (Youth Day Fundraiser; 9/26/09 WMU vs Hofstra at Waldo Stadium 7pm $12 per ticket w $3 to PPRF), please see Ben tonight at practice to purchase tickets.  For those that already requested some, please pay (if u have not already) and pick-up the tickets tonight or at the next practice u attend.

9/14/09 Reminder: Anyone still needing a game jersey please come to the red shed on Wed or Thurs during practice to pick it up.  Ran out of "P" decals for the helmets, placed an order and should have them soon for anyone still needing them.

The rest of the '09 Flag Schedule is still being finalized; will post, email, and hand out paper copies on Wed 9/16/09.

The '09 concession stand schedule is available and paper copies have been given to each player/parent.  If you are assigned the 1st game of the day, you NEED to arrive ½ hour before the start of the game to open the concession stand and help prepare food.  If you are UNABLE to work your assigned time it is YOUR responsibility to get someone else to work for you.  We DO NOT ask anyone to work while their child is playing.  Any questions, please contact Tina Frank by email: tina.frank@bcdtravel.com or by phone: (269) 744-6782.

As part of the KVRF league, we participate in their Youth Day Fundraiser; 9/26/09 WMU vs Hofstra at Waldo Stadium 7pm $12 per ticket w $3 to PPRF.  For the KVRF to continue having a team from each program play at Waldo Stadium every year, PPRF needs to sell 50 tickets.  Tickets will be available for pick-up on Wed 9/16/09 or Thurs 9/17/09.

9/1/09 Reminder: The game schedule for rocket players is done, a paper copy will given to each player at their next practice.  Flag game schedules will be available soon, working w Coloma to get it scheduled.  Anyone still w additional T-shirt/sweatshirt orders will have until Thursday 9/3/09 to turn them in...will place the order Friday and hopefully receive them shortly after that.  Still no P's, pants, and jerseys; will keep u posted. 

FYI: w the game schedules being finalized, the concession stand schedule will surely be following soon.  The concession stand is open for all home games and a parent of each player is assigned to work at least once during the season...NEVER during their child's game.  It is VERY important that you show up for your scheduled time, if your unavailable to work your scheduled shift it is your responsibility to find a replacement...this program is solely ran w the help of volunteers and w out them, it would be impossible to offer a successful '09 football season!

8/31/09 Reminder: T-shirt/Sweatshirt orders are due tonight Mon 8/31/09, please turn in all order forms at the red shed.

8/26/09 Reminder: Picture night w Legend Photo has been changed to Wed 10/7/09 starting at 530pm (exact team times to come), will have pictures envelopes soon.  The helmets order last week are in, the helmet guy will be at the field Thursday 8/27/09 6pm to hand them out.

8/23/09 Reminder: 1st practice (full pads for rocket players) is Mon 8/24/09 for all players.  Going forward each coach will communicate the days and times each team will practice.  Teams have been drafted and were divided the last day of conditioning, anyone not sure of their placement please let us know and we'll get you where you need to be.  Game schedules will not be determined for another week, will post once they are available.  Still waiting on the ordered jerseys and pants, will keep u posted as to when they come in and can be picked up.  The helmet guy will be at the field again on Mon, has a few extra helmets for anyone still needing one or waiting on an ordered one.  Plan to clean up and paint the inside of the concession stand during practice next week, any extra help would be greatly appreciated if possible.

8/13/09 Reminder: 2009 PPHS Youth Football Camp Saturday 8/15/09 830am-1030am at PPHS; $15 per player.  1st day of conditioning is Monday 8/17/09 and is the last day to register for the '09 season.  Conditioning (no pads for rocket players) will be M-R (8/17-8/20) 6pm-8pm at Tyler Field.  1st day of practice (full pads for rocket players) is Monday 8/24/09.

7/29/09 Reminder: Fittings are Monday 8/3/09 6pm-8pm or Tuesday 8/4/09 6pm-8pm at Tyler Field; Late registration will be both of those night as well; $45 Flag Football (ages 5-7) $55 Rocket Football (ages 8-12).  Last day to register for the '09 season is Monday 8/17/09 (1st day of conditioning).  PPRF has a new sports broker with Riddell Sales this year, he will be at the field both nights of fittings for those that need to purchase a new helmet, etc...
